Your Story Isn’t Over Yet. Nevertheless, human opinions and racing thoughts don’t get the final say—God does. He formed each life with intention and, as our free will aligns with His will, our renewed minds begin to shape steps that fit the story He is writing.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Mercy for every detour. God is not surprised by weaknesses, delays, or detours. Instead, He meets them with mercy and keeps working.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Follow Christ—keep facing forward. Moreover, Jesus walked among us and understands hardship; consequently, He calls us to follow Him forward, not backward.

“No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Release the gavel. Therefore, only God judges perfectly. We don’t have to live under constant self-verdicts or the verdicts of others.

“I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself… It is the Lord who judges me.”

  • First, pray: “Lord, align my will with Yours today.”
  • Next, renew: Read one passage; write one truth; replace one lie.
  • Then, act: Take the next faithful step you already know to take.
  • Also, release: Refuse self-condemnation; let God hold the final verdict.
  • Afterward, face forward: Celebrate progress; stop rehearsing regret.
  • Finally, stay available: God’s pen is still moving—co-author with Him through obedience.

Remember, Your Story Isn’t Over Yet is more than a line—it’s a lens. When the past shouts, choose to face forward. If delay frustrates you, sow a small seed of obedience today. Meanwhile, should doubt crowd in, answer with Scripture and gratitude. In practice, progress often looks ordinary before it looks obvious. Even so, God is not surprised by your detours, and His mercy is not fragile. So keep showing up with an aligned will, a renewed mind, and steady steps. In time, the Author who began a good work will turn pages you cannot yet see.
