Tired But Thriving

Faith at the Kitchen Table

Life gets heavy. I’ve learned this the hard way — as a caregiver, wife, mother, daughter, and woman with heart issues trying to carry peace in a house full of storms. I live the phrase Tired But Thriving™ every day. I created this space for that very reason — to hold the real weight of what we live through while believing there’s more ahead.

I often think of Moses. He gave his life trying to help, but the pressure of leading people who didn’t want to be led cost him everything. It cost him rest. It cost him peace. It cost him the promised land. I see myself in that. When you’re the one holding everything together, it’s easy to break in ways no one notices.

Sometimes I cry in the bathroom. I lay in bed with thoughts racing, body aching, strength fading. But I pray. I rest. I rise again. Not because I’m strong, but because God is. And I know He is with me in this wilderness too. Tired But Thriving™ doesn’t mean perfect. It means planted in faith — even when nothing else feels steady.

Thriving When It Makes No Sense

In the middle of chaos, I still sit down and work on my business. Because it’s God-ordained. Because I know I’m not doing this for applause — I’m doing it because He put it in me to do. Even when the people around me don’t understand. Even when my own body rebels. This is my obedience. My way forward. This is how I keep thriving.

I don’t judge anyone. We are all flawed. We are all walking through something. But if you’re here, reading this, I want you to know you’re not alone. This is not the end of your story. And this space — Tired But Thriving™ — is where we remind each other of that. Together.
